Our production capabilities are built around custom parts made to customer drawings, CAD data, samples and technical specifications. The manufacturing route is selected according to the part design, material, tolerance, quantity and stage of product development.

Not every part should follow the same production route. A complex housing may require multi-axis milling and cosmetic anodizing, while a small shaft may be better suited to Swiss-type turning. For plastic prototypes, CNC machining, 3D printing or vacuum casting may each be appropriate under different material, quantity and testing requirements.
Our team reviews these factors before production and coordinates the processes required for the complete part rather than treating machining, finishing and inspection as unrelated steps.
Common metals include aluminum 6061, 6082 and 7075; stainless steel 303, 304 and 316; carbon and alloy steels; brass; copper; titanium; and die-casting alloys such as ADC12 and Zamak.
Engineering plastics include ABS, PC, PMMA, POM, PA, PP, PEEK, PEI and PTFE, together with other application-specific grades. Material selection is based on the drawing and functional requirements, including strength, wear resistance, operating temperature, chemical exposure, appearance and dimensional stability.
We manufacture components for automation equipment, robotics, medical and laboratory equipment, optical systems, semiconductor equipment, automotive products, consumer electronics and industrial machinery. These are examples rather than limits; each enquiry is evaluated according to its own technical and production requirements.
For OEM projects, YS Precision manufactures custom parts according to customer-controlled 2D drawings, 3D CAD files, material specifications, tolerance requirements and finish standards. Support can begin with a prototype and continue through tooling, bridge production and ongoing volume manufacturing.
Customers retain control of their product design and technical requirements. Our role is to translate those requirements into a practical production plan, identify manufacturing risks and coordinate the processes needed to complete the parts consistently.
For projects containing several different components, one project team can coordinate machining, molding, casting, sheet metal work and surface finishing. This reduces the need to manage a separate supplier for every part and makes it easier to control revisions, fit, appearance and delivery across the project.
Our ODM support focuses on manufacturing development rather than complete product design. When a customer provides a concept, physical sample or preliminary specification, we can help develop the part toward a practical manufacturing solution.
This may include process recommendations, material selection, manufacturability improvements and prototype production for evaluation. Features that are difficult to machine, mold or inspect can be reviewed before tooling or production begins.
We do not introduce design changes without customer review. Any proposed adjustment is communicated for approval so that the intended function, appearance and assembly relationships remain under the customer's control.
Our R&D and engineering support is centered on manufacturability. Before material is ordered or tooling begins, we review the available drawings, CAD files, samples and assembly information to identify issues that could affect cost, quality, lead time or production repeatability.

- Tolerance, datum and mating-part relationships
- Tool access, internal corners and deep features
- Wall thickness, draft and undercuts in molded parts

The purpose is not to change a design for manufacturing convenience. It is to identify avoidable risks while revisions are still easier and less costly to make.
Prototype production allows customers to evaluate fit, assembly, appearance and function before committing to tooling or a larger order. Feedback from testing can then be incorporated into the next design revision or production plan.
When several mating components are produced together, we can also perform fit checks or light trial assembly before shipment. This does not replace the customer's final product validation, but it can identify obvious interface problems and reduce avoidable rework.
For repeat and volume production, feedback from machining, molding, inspection and assembly can be used to improve workholding, process stability, cycle time and consistency between batches.

Our R&D and technical review process examines customer drawings, 3D models, and specifications to confirm material, drawing revision, critical dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, quantity, and assembly requirements. If a feature may affect machining, molding, finishing, or part fit, we discuss it with the customer before production whenever possible. This early identification of potential issues helps reduce unnecessary revisions and keeps production on schedule. We also evaluate each part individually to select a process suited to its structure, material, tolerances, surface finish, and production quantity.
